UPVEL PoE+ Switches significantly reduce cost of ownership for small and medium size business and professional home installations. UPVEL PoE+ Switches provide up to 30 watts of power per port to connect widest array of PoE/PoE+ devices: High-power outdoor WIFI access-points, IP-cameras, and VoIP equipment. The PoE+ Switches are sturdy build and run quiet without fans. The UP-208FE is an unmanaged rack-mountable switch with 4 Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports, each port provisioning up to 30 watts of power, and 4 regular Fast Ethernet ports. The total available power regiment is limited at 70 watts. The switch auto-detects the type of PoE device connected and provides up to 30W of power for 802.3at (max. 2 PoE+ devices connected simultaneously) and/or 15.4W power for 802.3af type PoE devices (max. 4 devices connected simultaneously) For non-PoE devices the power feed is auto-blocked and only data is transmitted. Green Ethernet technology features detect idle ports and cable length on each port and reduces energy consumption up to 70%. A total available backbone bandwidth of 1.6Gbit/s significantly increases data throughput and prevents network overload. The LED display on the frontpanel facilitates troubleshooting. The switch has a built-in power supply and includes a rack-mount kit.
