The LXT500VP3 features Channel Scan that automatically checks channels for activity, Auto Squelch to remove annoying background noise, and a HI/LO Power Setting that lets you adjust transmit power & conserve battery life. This radio also features call alerts, roger beep, easy button access, and a battery life extender. Midland's Dual Power Option allows the use of rechargeable batteries (Included) or 4 AAA alkaline batteries (Not Included). In addition, the LXT500VP3 has a 3-Year Warranty.
